Jon Naiman

Jon Naiman wurde 1965 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, geboren, wo er Fotografie, Film und Skulptur studierte. Er schloss 1989 mit einem Bachelor in Kunst mit Vertiefung in Fotografie an der Rhode Island School of Design ab, lebte und arbeitete anschliessend in New York, bevor er 2004 nach Bern in die Schweiz zog. Er erhielt zwei MacDowell Colony Fellowships, eine Residency am Anderson Ranch Arts Center, den Rhode Island State Council on the Arts Grant for New Genres und 2006 den Fotopreis der Berner Kunstkommission; er nahm an mehreren Ausstellungen im In- und Ausland teil.
