Beni Muhl
Biography
Beni Muhl (*1992 in Schaffhausen) is a Swiss art historian. He served till 2022 as assistant curator at the Kunstmuseum Luzern. Prior to that he was specialist in visual arts and literature at the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia. Supported by the Swiss National Science Foundation, he currently prepares his doctoral dissertation on ambivalent modes of appropriation in the work of women Pop artists at the University of Fribourg, and is research fellow at the University of Pennsylvania.
He has studied at the Universities of Fribourg and Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, holding an MA in Art History and German Studies.
