Juri Steiner
Biography
Juri Steiner (*1969 in Zürich) studied art history, German language and literature, and philosophy at the University of Zürich, earning a doctorate in philosophy (2003).
From 1993 regular freelance art critic for the Neue Zürcher Zeitung and freelance curator at the Kunsthaus Zürich. He writes for international newspapers and magazines. From 1999 to 2003, within the framework of Expo.02 as Chief Arteplage, responsible for the concept, architecture and content of the Arteplage Mobile du Jura (AMJ). Since 2007 director and artistic director of the Zentrum Paul Klee (ZPK) in Bern. Exhibition curator of Jenseits von Eden. A Garden Show at the ZPK (2008). Since 2010 member of the literature club of Swiss Television SF DRS.
