Krispin Heé

Born 1979 in Nastätten (D), raised in St.Gallen, works as a book designer in Zürich and Berlin.
Close conceptual collaboration with artists, curators or editors is an integral part of her work. In her design practice, she questions the conventions of book design for their conceptual and innovative potential and tests new approaches, whether by reorganizing content and typographic hierarchies or by experimenting with unconventional materialities. Her work has won several awards at the Schönste Schweizer Bücher (Most Beautiful Swiss Books); in 2020 she received the Walter Tiemann Prize and in 2021 the Jan Tschichold Prize.
