Marlene Marder
Biography
Marlene Marder (real name Marlene Marti; b. 1954, † 2016) was a Swiss punk guitarist.
Originally a saxophonist, she played in the band Kleenex, which was called "LiLiPUT" from 1980. In 1976, she was one of the founders of the "Homosexual Women's Group" in Zurich. She later wrote the book "Kleenex/LiLiPUT - Das Tagebuch der Gitarristin Marlene Marder" (1986), ran a record store and a concert agency.
She died of cancer at the age of 61.
