Patrick Frey
Biography
Patrick Frey, born 1949 in Bern, is an actor, comedian, author and publisher. After discontinuing his studies in economics and art history, he has been writing reviews and essays on international contemporary art from 1978 to the present (for Tagesanzeiger, Parkett, Wolkenkratzer, Artforum, among others). In 1986, he founded the internationally active publishing house "Edition Patrick Frey," which has published over 350 artists' books and illustrated books in the fields of contemporary art, photography, and media to date.
