Samuel Weidmann

Samuel Weidmann (b. 1984) studied visual communication at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) and the Artez in Arnhem, and graduated in 2011 after internships at Marie Lusa and Lehni-Trüb. In 2012, Weidmann founded the eponymous design studio Samuel Weidmann, which has been active in the multidisciplinary field of visual communication. The focus of his practice lies in the symbiosis of technology and design and the intersection of web design, animation and code, the development of intermedia identities as well as related artistic directions. His commissioned work includes clients both cultural and commercial and he also works on self-initiated projects. Weidmann is also a visiting lecturer in digital publishing, web design and graphic animation at the Design and Visual Communication Department at the Zurich University of the Arts.
