Biography
'The history of Weinberg & Co. began in 1934 with the opening of a fashion store on Löwenplatz. Twenty years later, the company moved to the upper Bahnhofstrasse. In 1970, the Weinbergs opened a new men's boutique, designed by the famous architect and designer couple Trix and Robert Haussmann. The first Courrèges boutique on Bahnhofstrasse outside Paris followed a year later. André Courrèges was a French fashion designer. Weinberg was subsequently one of the most modern and elegant fashion stores on Bahnhofstrasse for a long time.'
