Zülfü Livaneli
Biography
Zülfü Livaneli was born in Konya-Ilgın (Turkey) in 1946. In the 70's he was forced to leave Turkey because of his political views, only in 1984 he returned. Zülfü Livaneli is one of the most famous artists of Turkey, who had great international success with his songs, and motion pictures. For several years he was a member of the Turkish Parliament, where he was particularly active in the Turkish-Greek reconciliation.
